More Than a Cooking Workshop

Welcome to the first Seena Table, where food, science, traditions, and human connection come together.

We’ll explore the art of fermentation using seasonal vegetables, discover the fascinating relationship between our gut and overall well-being, and share food traditions and memories around one table.

Food for the Brain

Did you know that approximately 70% of our immune cells are associated with the gut?

In a short, engaging talk, we’ll explore:

  • Gut health and immune function as winter approaches
  • The gut–brain connection, stress, and mood
  • Why many supermarket pickles don’t contain live beneficial bacteria
  • The difference between fermented foods and probiotics

Food for the Gut

Get hands-on and prepare your own jar of naturally fermented seasonal vegetables, without vinegar.

Learn the process, understand the science, and take your jar home to continue fermenting.

Food for the Soul

Food carries memories, cultures, and family traditions.

When you arrive, you’ll be invited to leave a food memory or tradition in our shared jar. Later, we’ll open a few notes and let the stories and conversations unfold naturally.

Sharing is always optional.
